“ El domingo 3/8/25 era un día medio nublado y fresco y salimos a conocer un lugar nuevo para degustar, llegamos a EL FARO (villa Urquiza, dónde al llegar había mesa libre y sin esperar, ni hacer fila, nos indicaron que nos sentemos ya q éramos dos y la moza muy amable nos recibió y nos dió la carta e indicó q había estofado como plato del día y otras cosas más, mientras tanto nos trajeron el pan y una entrada de escabeche de pollo, luego finalmente nos elegimos ravioles de ricota y verdura y la otra persona ravioles de ricota con estofado ($16.000 c/u) que menos de 5 minutos nos llegó calentito, todo casero, con ese estofado fresco que no sabía nada de acidez y un platito con abundante queso q deben tener en cuenta ya q eso hoy en día no se ve, y no era queso en polvo, era queso rallado, increíble ese menú, y para cerrar entre charlas y risas nos pedimos de postre un budín de pan con dulce de leche y un flan casero con dulce de leche que con un sabor y textura nos sorprendió de lo casero que era, puedo decirles que por el momento puedo recomendarles ese menú que de puntuación un 10. ”
“ Bodegón de platos abundantes donde se come bien. Yo me pedi unos sorrentinos de sslsa rosa. Estaban ricos pero he comido mejores, le pifié a la elección de la salsa. Una amiga pidió los fideos con estofado y estaba riquisimo!!! Con la carne abundante que se deshacia. Te dan opcion de botella de agua grande, lo malo es q nos lo avisaron cuando ya habiamos tomado 2 chiquitad y volvimos a pedir agua. Algo que no me gustó es que pedimos la cuenta y la chica se acercó y dijo son $53600. Y eso fue todo. Ni siquiera una cuenta escrita como la del verdulero. Me pareció pésimo eso. Para que tengan una idea fueron 53600 y pedimos: 1 fideos con estofado 1 sorrentinos con salsa rosa 1 bife de chorizo con ensalada 1 flan con dulce de leche y crema 1 panqueque con dulce de leche 2 aguas chicas 1 agua grande 1 7up chica Y 1 café De entradita nos trajeron un humus muy rico ”
“ This is a typical Buenos Aires café. It's not fancy, it's not clean, waiters are not quite helpful, it has 1 or 2 types of wine available (the cheapest ones), and the menu has only 5 options. All that makes this place a wonderful option for locals. ”
“ Nada mejor que tomar un café con leche en un bar notable, taza de losa blanca y bien caliente . Nada de temperatura barista por acá, le das un sorbo sin atención y te pelas la lengua . ”
“ Bodegón (de verdad) que sigue manteniendo la esencia. Te reciben con un escabeche muy rico. Platos abundantes y sabrosos, buenos precios. Las pastas son caseras. Buena atención. La única observación, es la música, cumbia y medio alto el volumen. Hubiera preferido tango. Recomendable totalmente. ”
